Repeat Prescriptions

If you are taking medication on a repeat basis please order in plenty of time and allow us two working days from the time we receive your order until you pick the prescription. They can be ordered in the following ways.

Online – follow the link above to register for our online services.

By Post – The right hand side of your last prescription gives details of your current drugs. Tick the items you require and post the slip to us. If you enclose a stamped address envelope we will post your new prescription back to you. Otherwise, you may collect it two working days after receipt of the request.

In Person – Leave your request in the boxes provided. Use either the right-hand side of your last prescription, or the request slips beside the box. Our receptionists will be pleased to help you if you have any problems.

By Telephone – The prescription request lines are open 24 hours a day. Please leave the following information on our answer machine: Your Name, Address, Date of Birth, Contact Telephone Number, Items You Require and also where you will pick the Prescription up from e.g. Surgery or Specify Chemist.

    • Bridge of Don: Telephone 01224 551400

    • Udny: Telephone 01651 842559

Via your Local Pharmacy – Some local pharmacies provide an ordering and collection service. Further details are available from the pharmacy of your choice.

***NOTICE TO ALL USERS OF THE SCOTSTOWN BRIDGE OF DON AND UDNY EMAIL PRESCRIPTION SERVICE***

Further to our recent notices regarding the change from ordering prescriptions by email to our new, secure online portal please note that this email address is now closed for prescription requests with effect from Monday 8th January 2018.

If you have not registered for our new online service then please go to our ONLINE SERVICES tab or click the link above and download the pre-registration form.  This should be completed and brought to the practice together with photographic id.  You will receive an email with the necessary codes to complete your registration thereafter.

Our other methods of ordering your repeat medication (e.g. telephone or ticked right-hand side of a prescription) remain unaltered.

This new method of ordering is the first step in our expansion of online services, which will shortly include the ability to book and cancel appointments online, so please register now if you have not already done so. You will only need to register once to access the other services we introduce via this portal. We appreciate this registration process is a little inconvenient, but it is in the interests of your security online that we move to this system, and we thank you for your patience and understanding.

If you have any problems registering, our staff will be happy to help.

Regards

The Doctors and management

Scotstown Medical Group

***CHANGE NOTICE***

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE EMAIL ORDERING SYSTEM WILL BE CHANGING TO A NEW, SECURE ONLINE ORDERING PORTAL WHICH WILL REQUIRE USERS TO REGISTER FOR THEIR OWN USERNAME AND PASSWORD.  YOU CAN DO THIS NOW BY CLICKING ON THE "ONLINE SERVICES" TAB ABOVE AND FILLING IN THE PRE-REGISTRATION FORM. YOU SHOULD THEN TAKE THE COMPLETED FORM TO YOUR NEAREST SURGERY (EITHER UDNY OR BRIDGE OF DON) WITH THE REQUESTED IDENTIFICATION. THIS NEW SYSTEM WILL ALLOW YOU TO SIMPLY TICK THE NAME OF THE DRUG YOU REQUIRE, AND STILL HAVE SPACE TO ADD COMMENTS OR ASK FOR SOMETHING THAT YOU MAY HAVE HAD IN THE PAST THAT NO LONGER SHOWS ON YOUR REPEAT MEDICATION LIST.

SO PLEASE DON'T DELAY, REGISTER NOW!
