Gillian heads our highly qualified nursing team. The practice policy is to encourage a healthy lifestyle, and our nurses run many of the screening programmes, which can help to prevent ill health. If you are invited to attend for such tests, please try to attend, as this can prevent complications in later life. If you want to speak to a practice nurse ring 0345 189 7070 (option 3) and the receptionist will be glad to put you through or arrange a suitable time for you to call back.

The health visitors have a major interest in preventive care particularly amongst children, and in addition to our regular services we have separate child development, immunisation and smoking cessation clinics. They also take a large share of the care of our frail and elderly patients and are involved in the provision of the Elderly Screening Service for our over 75 year old patients.
